What can we learn from two decades old radio airchecks? Maybe a lot. As in the age before radio automation, jocks had to perform live and give all they've got!

Fifteen years ago, I bought my first video aircheck tape. I loved it. For the first time, I could not only hear what the jocks did, but also look over their shoulder and see how they actually did it. I played that VHS tape over and over again, watching them run the board and feed the cart machines. Awesome! Some of the clips can now be found on YouTube.
